iCLA presented recent scientific data
The 9th International Meeting on Biomolecules under Pressure has been a huge success. We are grateful to the organizers and everyone who could join us. This exciting scientific field, which combines basic, theoretical and applied sciences is growing steadily, and the quality of the discussions and presentations of the participants have been amazing.
Prof. Lassalle from iCLA explained his recent data and met Prof. Fujisawa (http://www.eng.gifu-u.ac.jp/seimei/e/staff/fujisawa.html), who is well known for his contribution to science in general and high-pressure science in particular. Everyone in iCLA and Yamanashi Gakuin University is invited to read the abstracts in my office and to discuss with me.
I studied high pressure sciences as post-doctoral researcher at Prof. Akasaka laboratory, and at that time only few researchers could imagine the potential of high pressure. After nearly 20 years of hard scientific work, high-pressure sciences is now a well established method for basic and applied sciences.
A remarkable example how much determination a scientist need to succeed.
