Genetics Laboratory:

Course Objectives: The students will learn about the three basic steps in the Bioindustry. Upstream (gene modification), downstream processing (protein purification), and quality assurance (protein function). This will allow the students to understand the importance of proteins as drugs. This course will enable the students to have first hands experience in modern molecular biology and genetics, develop their scientific thinking, and to solve problems in this area.
Experiments that we will perform enables the student to apply the gained knowledge from the lecture in the laboratory setting. We will learn about the whole "value chain"
