in my opinion, experience science is the most straightforward approach. In Yamanashi and in regions around several museums exist.

Biotechnology has been used in the past and visiting these sites will build up an desire to study about the endless possibilities.

Sustainability?

Indeed, The Arafune Cold Storage Site is a prime example. We can learn from the past to shape our future.

The Yamanashi Prefectural Maglev Exhibition Center (http://linear-museum.pref.yamanashi.jp/english/index.html) is another place to visit. For me it is a joy to see how the children imaginations increase and they become motivated to study about science.

And if you teach science never forget that science is fun!
